Air Arabia is a low-cost airline based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that operates to over 206 destinations across the Middle East, North Africa, the Indian subcontinent, Central Asia, and Europe. Its fleet consists of 62 Airbus A320 and 9 A321 Neo LR aircraft. Air Arabia is the largest low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, and it is known for its reliability, affordability, and great customer service. Their motto of providing the best services to their customers also includes a generous baggage policy, which is really great for a budget airline. In this article, we will explore baggage allowance and all the rules and regulations related to it.

Hand Baggage Allowance

Air Arabia allows passengers to bring cabin baggage, which should weigh up to 10 kg. This includes carry-on bags, personal items, and duty-free purchases. The airline also has some carry-on restrictions, so let's look at them.

  • Only one carry-on baggage is allowed to be carried on board.
  • The maximum allowed dimension of the carry-on baggage should be 55 x 40 x 20 cm, including the handles, pockets, and wheels.
  • Carry-on baggage must be declared with a tag attached to every carry-on piece at the check-in counter.

Personal Item Rules

Air Arabia also has some restrictions on the hand baggage policy; here, you will know the rules and regulations about hand baggage.

  • Air Arabia allows passengers to bring one personal item.
  • Laptop bags, ladies ' handbags, and gentlemen's satchels are some of the personal items that are permitted to be brought on board.
  • The allowed dimension of the personal item must be within 25cm x 33cm x 20cm.

Passengers Traveling With Infants

Airlines have also made some rules for passengers traveling with infants. If a passenger is traveling with an infant under two years old, they will get additional standard-sized baggage, which should weigh up to 3 kg and contain the items that the infants require. This additional baggage should also fit under the seat in front of you, and they should also get checked at the check-in counter and get tags attached to them.
