Cancellation and Refund Policy Of Vietnam Airlines

• Even if your plan changes at the last minute, you can make amendments and request a refund with the airline up to three hours before departure.

• When cancelling your flight, you must make your refund request separately, as the airline will not automatically make the request on your behalf.
• You can request a refund with Vietnam Airlines through its official website's "Manage booking" section. 
• The airline will provide a full refund if you cancel your flight within 24 hours of booking your reservation, provided the reservation was made at least a week before the scheduled departure. 
• If you have booked a non-refundable fare class, you won't be able to get a refund even after your flight is cancelled.
• Based on your fare class and the time you cancel your ticket, you have to pay a variety of refund fees to the airline:
  • In an Economy Flex (Y/B/M) class, you must pay a refund fee of EUR 100 if you cancel your ticket before the ticket date and EUR 150 if you cancel it on or after the ticketed flight date. 
  • In an Economy Classic (S/h/K/L/Q) class, you must pay a refund fee of EUR 150 if you cancel your ticket before the ticket date and EUR 200 if you cancel it on or after the ticketed flight date. 
  • In an Economy Lite (N/R/T/E) class, you must pay a refund fee of EUR 200 if you cancel your ticket before the ticket date and EUR 250 if you cancel it on or after the ticketed flight date.
  • In the Economy Super Lite (A/G/P) class, you must pay a EUR 250 refund fee regardless of when you cancel your flight ticket.
• The airline will charge differently from the one mentioned above if your flight is from Germany.
  • In an Economy Flex (Y/B/M) class, you must pay a refund fee of EUR 75 if you cancel your ticket before the ticket date and EUR 100 if you cancel it on or after the ticketed flight date. 
  • In an Economy Classic (S/h/K/L/Q) class, you must pay a refund fee of EUR 100 if you cancel your ticket before the ticket date and EUR 150 if you cancel it on or after the ticketed flight date. 
  • In an Economy Lite (N/R/T/E) class, you must pay a refund fee of EUR 150 if you cancel your ticket before the ticket date and EUR 250 if you cancel it on or after the ticketed flight date.
  • In the Economy Super Lite (A/G/P) class, you must pay a EUR 250 refund fee regardless of when you cancel your flight ticket. 
• If you purchased travel insurance while booking your flight ticket with Vietnam Airlines, you may request a refund from the company based on their terms and conditions.
• The refund will be submitted to the same account used to make the payment while booking the ticket.
• The form of payment will be the same as the refund that you used while booking the reservation. 
• The airline will provide a refund within 15 business days of completing your request.
• When the refund process is completed, you will be provided an email at your registered email address. 
• The airline will charge your ticket with the no-show charges if you haven't cancelled it three hours before the scheduled departure.
